Does Chris Brown have a problem with Oprah and Rihanna's
anticipated interview? According to a source claiming to be close to
him, the "Fortune" singer is upset because he feels like Rihanna has
already said more than enough.
"Chris is just
confused about Rihanna's decision to bring up the past again and again.
Rihanna has previously given wide ranging interviews about the beating
to Diane Sawyer and several print magazines," the source told
Radar Online.
While those interviews were
poignant, Rihanna seems to be more forthcoming in her interview with
Winfrey (as seen in previews). In one preview
for example, she details how she is often reminded of him and at points
misses having him in her life. But the source close to Brown says he
thinks it's all the same and she needs to move on.
"Chris
just doesn't think it's productive or relevant to rehash the
events since essentially nothing new is being revealed in the interview
Rihanna has done with Oprah," reports Radar Online.
"Chris doesn't begrudge Rihanna at all for talking about it but he
thinks that in order for them to both move forward and not be defined by
that one night, it would be better to stop bringing it up."
Even
though what Brown is allegedly saying could be true, what happened was a
major part of Rihanna's life. Therefore, it would be hard for him to
think that she can omit what happened when asked, in this case by Oprah,
a relevant question.
In related news, Chris Brown's attorney has spoken out
about a recently filed lawsuit. With a $16 million price tag the suit
accuses Brown and Drake of knowingly engaging in a fight that led to a
brawl at W.i.P in New York.
According to Mark Geragos, the suit is nothing more than "a frivolous lawsuit."
